Why we love the Open

One of the reasons we love the Open is that you see some incredible performances.  Not only do you see them from our higher scoring athletes, we see some of the strongest performances from some of our newest athletes.  I was lucky enough to judge Kyle on Friday was lucky to watch an extremely gutty performance.  He completed 14.5, as prescribed, in a little over 45 minutes.  He never complained and kept a great attitude through the WOD.  How many of us would attack a 45 minute Open WOD without complaint?

Great job Kyle and everyone else!  We don’t know about you, but we are looking forward to next year already!

10 push presses, 95 lbs (65 lbs)
10 kettlebell swings, 24 kg (16 kg)
10 box jumps, 24″ box (20″ box)
