Our Programs

CrossFit VIM is proud to offer special program classes to help you achieve success. We are limited to 1 hour in our classes and for many of us, that is just not enough time to really develop our skills, especially in our weaker areas. We provide additional specialty classes every week that you can attend in lieu of or in addition to your regular workout schedule.

Workout Of the Day (WOD)

The WOD is our basic CrossFit workout that you will see at every regular class time. These vary day to day and you will very rarely do the same workout twice unless it is one of our hero workouts. Please check the Whiteboard for today’s Workout Of the Day!

Olympic Weightlifting (OLY)

Olympic weightlifting is one of the most athletic movements we have in CrossFit and these movements require an immense amount of coordination, explosiveness, and just plain practice. Each week we will hold at least one hour class where we will work on your Oly skills.  Whether you are beginner, intermediate, or advanced, we will spend the time focusing on your lifts to make you stronger and more explosive.

Strenf Class

Come join us for a 1 hour class specifically dedicated to getting you stronger. If you would like to work on your strength, this is the class for you. Join other Vimmers and build your muscle together. Gaining strength through barbells is important part of CrossFit and life. You can do this class in place of or with our regular WOD classes. But if you want to develop your powerlifting strength and prowess, this class is a must.

Crossfit Kids and Teens

CrossFit Kids is a method for teaching Greg Glassman’s CrossFit to children ages 3-18. Based on the principle of Mechanics, Consistency and then Intensity, CrossFit Kids emphasizes good movement throughout childhood and adolescence. Consistently good mechanics translates to physical literacy, enhanced sports performance and fewer sports injuries for kids. Not only that, a vast body of research indicates that exercise is beneficial to cognitive function, which means consistent adherence to the program can have a positive impact on children’s academic achievement.

CrossFit Kids is meant to be BIG fun for all ages. Broad-Inclusive-General fun. Fun means we provide an active alternative to sedentary pursuits, which means less childhood obesity and all-around better health for our children. Further, the needs of second graders and high-school varsity wrestlers differ by degree and not kind; the program is scalable for any age or experience level and accounts for the varied maturation status one can find in a class full of kids. CrossFit Kids is designed to be minimalist; it is inexpensive and often requires little or no equipment, allowing a wide array of socioeconomic groups an opportunity to be physically fit and physically active throughout their lives.

We run Crossfit Kids in the summer months and Crossfit Teens through-out the year. Please email us for more information and how to sign up: jenn@crossfitvim.com
